As a leader in the civilian-drones sector and thanks to its array of professional solutions, Delta Drone was invited to participate, on 6 and 7 April, in the first international online conference for professional technological innovations that can effectively help fight the COVID-19 pandemic:
COVID-19 Innovation Conference – Worldwide Online Investment Event
This online conference organized by Cukierman & Co. Life Sciences will bring together, via a sophisticated multimedia system for group presentations as well as one-on-one meetings, companies with technologies relevant to the situation at hand, such as pharmaceutical groups, research laboratories and solutions-technologies companies, as well as an extensive panel of international investors and scientific experts.
For this conference, Delta Drone wished to highlight, among its various solutions that could be used in the fight against the pandemic, the Swiss company Aero41, which is specialized in spraying via drone, and in which Delta Drone is the largest shareholder.
Over the two days, Frédéric Hemmeler, CEO of Aero41, will present the benefits of its drone-spraying solution and its effectiveness for the application of disinfectants. Precision misting nozzles, the technology controlling the application of a product and the sturdiness of the equipment are all technical characteristics that make the Aero41 solution very suitable for the spraying of predetermined areas.
The Aero41 solution is already operational in Switzerland and Austria, and is used to spray vineyards. Following many recent requests, particularly from several countries in the Middle East, the company successfully tested adaptations of its technology for the spraying of various agrochemicals.
Thanks to Delta Drone’s support, Aero41 will soon be able to further improve the performance of its solution. The engineering and design department at ParaZero, a new Group entity located in Tel Aviv, will be responsible for working on all R&D and engineering aspects in close collaboration with the operational teams in Switzerland.
Christian Viguié, Chairman and CEO of Delta Drone, said, “We are thrilled to provide this opportunity for Aero41, which is an integral part of the Group’s “ecosystem,” so that it can present its solution in this prestigious international setting. The drone-spraying solution developed by Aero41 enriches and completes the range of professional solutions now offered by the Group both in France and abroad. Thanks to the natural synergies developed within our organization, we are now able to provide Aero41 with the R&D abilities of our ParaZero design department in Tel Aviv, thus creating a new development synergy between Switzerland and Israel, furthering the Group’s overall development. Other solutions from our stable may also be effective in the fight against pandemics such as COVID-19. Technical feasibility studies are underway and could soon lead to concrete proposals to be submitted before the relevant authorities, organizations and companies.”
For the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently facing, the Aero41 solution is therefore the first from Delta Drone’s portfolio of solutions to be put forth as a credible response to this crisis situation and the needs of both the authorities and the general public.
