Delta Drone Groupe and Propeller Aero finalized an agreement to officially distribute the world’s first smart Ground Control Point Targets: Aeropoints.
As part of this agreement, Delta Drone will be able to resell Propeller’s Aeropoints in the various countries in which the Group operates, including Europe, Africa and the Americas in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, mines and quarries.
The user-friendly Aeropoints are solar powered with integrated GPS, allowing for precise references points in aerial imagery. Their one-button operation allows non-technical users the ability to map worksites with centimeter-level precision in a fraction of the time of more traditional methods.
AeroPoints have been consistently validated over the last 6 months in hundreds of missions by Delta Drone teams and other independent groups. The ability to move targets from site to site offers significant time and cost savings compared to the conventional collection of ground control points.
