For the opening of the APS Security Trade Show held from 1 to 3 October at the Palais d’exposition, Porte de Versailles in Paris, Delta Drone and the PROTEC group announces the signature of a major distribution agreement concerning the ISS SPOTTER autonomous-drone solution developed by Delta Drone and its subsidiaries PIXIEL and DPS.

The distribution agreement entered into first concerns Europe, where PROTEC has a large network of correspondents and agents ready to promote the solution. It can also be expanded to other geographic areas based on opportunities that might arise, such as in South America and Africa. On said continent, the sales organization would benefit Delta Drone’s local establishments (Morocco, South Africa, Ivory Coase, Ghana, Senegal).

On an operational level, sales initiatives will be managed by PROTEC’s new subsidiary, PROTEC SECURITY SYSTEMS, which is focused on new safety and security technologies, in close consultation with Delta Drone’s ISS department.

Founded in 1999, the PROTEC Group is managed by Gil Ancelin, an expert with degrees in company protection, economic intelligence and international security. He is a top player human safety and security services. PROTEC is also a founding member of the private-security Consortium that currently includes 21 security companies representing over 4 700 employees and €170M in revenue.

When the agreement was signed, Gil Ancelin, Chairman of PROTEC, said, “PROTEC SECURITY SYSTEMS is not a “manufacturer,” it is a distributor and integrator of solutions. Our solutions have been selected from existing innovations according to precise and strict specifications to meet a real need to face current threats. ISS SPOTTER is to date the only operational solution that provides all the necessary guarantees for deployment combining the work of humans and technology. Aimed at improving the performance of our services and improving our teams’ skills, our solutions guarantee end clients a result that is rarely matched thanks to this alliance of humans and technology on a controlled market. It is therefore only logical that the PROTEC group enter into an exclusive distribution agreement between its subsidiary SECURITY SYSTEMS and the Delta Drone group for France and Europe.”A

For his part, Christian Viguié, Chairman and CEO of Delta Drone said, “Entering into an agreement with the PROTEC group is in line in every way with our strategy for development and the dronification of the security sector. Indeed, it decisively reinforces our standing to offer innovative professional solutions to the sector, with the support and guidance of longtime players with guaranteed expertise and understanding of the issues and client expectations. The support of the PROTEC group gives us access to a larger clientele, both in France and abroad.”
